Scott & Cecile have lived in the Hudson Valley for over 10 years and have traveled extensively in French wine country. European wines were the focus for this bunch recently, but now local (shop local everyone!) wines are the focus in the Hudson Valley. We have gone very deep into vintage Napa Valley tastings as well and Scott has also had a serious attachment to wines from Eastern Europe and the Middle East recently…(Lebanon and the Bekka Valley, Georgia (not the US state!) and especially Agiorgitiko wines from the Peloponnesian peninsula in Greece.

But Scott has a few key connections, for anyone looking to build or just start a cellar, that will make stocking it with amazing wines less expensive. The best of Hudson Valley Wines are the focus now and as friends at a hudson valley winery recently said, “this hot fall harvest is a calamity for some and a blessing for others.” When Cab Franc is ripe in the valley, we all can expect great things to follow. Here is a preview of the recent 2024 Hudson Valley “hidden gem” harvest below. Waiting for this to hit shelves will be a long wait.

While we miss our cellar in France, we are focused on the wines we find in the Hudson Valley and are just amazed at some of the wines coming out of this region. Our beloved cellar in France below….

We look forward to promoting the best hidden gems of the Hudson Valley Wine world and local vineyard experiences!
